Eco-Design Town

Located in the Liuxi Hot Spring Resort area in Conghua, Guangzhou, the Eco-Design Town is an innovative destination integrating ecological design industries, culture, tourism, leisure, and education. It serves as a core international conference eco-demonstration zone in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor and recreational activities, including river tracing along Yadong River, water activities, camping, hot air balloon experiences, helicopter sightseeing, go-karting, and off-road driving.

Liuxihe National Forest Park

As one of the first ten national forest parks in China, Liuxihe National Forest Park features the 1,466-hectare Liuxi Lake at its center. With over 80% forest coverage, the park boasts excellent natural ecology and scenic landscapes throughout the year. In spring, flowers bloom across the mountains; in summer, it offers a cool retreat; in autumn, the forests turn vibrant with color; and in winter, the famous “Liuxi Fragrant Snow” plum blossoms create a stunning view. It is an ideal destination for boating, hiking, and relaxation in nature.

Shimen National Forest Park

A national 4A-level scenic area, Shimen National Forest Park is known as the “Oasis on the Tropic of Cancer.” With a forest coverage rate of 98.9%, it preserves one of the best secondary forests in South China. The park includes five major scenic zones and more than 50 attractions, such as the Shimen Rock formations, red maple forests, and the colorful Tianchi Lake. Visitors can also hike to Tiantang Peak (1,210 meters), the highest point in Guangzhou, to enjoy panoramic mountain views. It is a popular destination for self-driving trips, photography, and forest wellness experiences.
